IPIFF welcomes the ENVI Committee’s vote backing the authorisation of
insect PAPs in poultry and pig feed
The International Platform of Insects for Food and Feed (IPIFF) – the umbrella association of the
European insect sector in the EU’s capital, Brussels – welcomes today’s vote of the ENVI Committee
backing a regulatory proposal from the European Commission on the use of insects processed animal
proteins (PAPs) for monogastric animals (i.e. poultry and swine).
