Insect proteins in poultry and pig feed are fully authorised in the European Union

The International Platform of Insects for Food and Feed (IPIFF) – the umbrella association of the European insect sector in EU’s capital, Brussels – welcomes today’s entry into force of the Commission Regulation (EU) 2021/1372[1], authorising the use of processed animal proteins derived from insects (insect PAPs) in poultry and pig feed.

Following this important milestone for the European insect sector, IPIFF will host a webinar entitled ‘EU authorisation of insect proteins in poultry and swine feed: Opportunities for more resilient and sustainable agri-food supply chains’. The event will take place on Zoom and will focus on the benefits of insect PAPs for European agri-food actors and consumers as well as on the expected positive effects of this authorisation on the development of the insect sector.

For more information and for the registration, please consult the IPIFF dedicated webpage and follow IPIFF social media channels for more updates.

I just found out about the zoom Event and am deeply sorry that I missed it by one day! I´m highly interested in the subject and would be overly happy if there´s a recording of the event somewhere or you could send it to me privately.
    All the best,
